Hey, you mob! Yeah, I haven’t done a pronunciation exercise with numbers in a while.
So today, I am going to count from 1 to 100 with an Australian accent!
In this video, for each number I count, I will display the Australian phonetic pronunciation key on screen.
As you become more familiar with the symbols, you will be able to associate them with the correct sound.
It will also be helpful if you pause the video with every number I count and repeat the pronunciation after me.
It was fast, quick, and fun making that video; see you in the next episode!

Transcript of AE 1041 - Counting 1 to 100 in Australian English | Accent Tutorial
G'day, you mob. Welcome to this episode of Aussie English. Today is a very simple episode, I'm going to be counting from one to a hundred, assuming I am capable of the task. So, it's been a while, it's probably been about 10 years since I've actually tried to do this, honestly.
So, this question comes from Didier Barney, who said, please do a video on counting numbers, say up to one hundred. I've actually had this question quite a few times, guys, where people have asked me to just do this as a pronunciation exercise. So, without any further ado, guys, let's get into it.
One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten. Eleven. Twelve. Thirteen. Fourteen. Fifteen. Sixteen. Seventeen. Eighteen. Nineteen. Twenty. Twenty-one. Twenty-two. Twenty-three. Twenty-four. Twenty-five. Twenty-six. Twenty-seven. Twenty-eight. Twenty-nine. Thirty. Thirty-one. Thirty-two. Thirty-three. Thirty-four. Thirty-five. Thirty-six. Thirty-seven. Thirty-eight. Thirty-nine. Forty. Forty-one. Forty-two. Forty-three. Forty-four.
Forty-five. Forty-six. Forty-seven. Forty-eight. Forty-nine. Fifty. Fifty-one. Fifty-two. Fifty-three. Fifty-four. Fifty-five. Fifty-six. Fifty-seven. Fifty-eight. Fifty-nine. Sixty. Sixty-one. Sixty-two. Sixty-three. Sixty-four. Sixty-five. Sixty-six. Sixty-seven. Sixty-eight. Sixty-nine. Seventy. Seventy-one. Seventy-two. Seventy-three. Seventy-four. Seventy-five. Seventy-six. Seventy-seven. Seventy-eight. Seventy-nine.
Eighty. Eighty-one. Eighty-two. Eighty-three. Eighty-four. Eighty-five. Eighty-six. Eighty-seven. Eighty-eight. Eighty-nine. Ninety. Ninety-one. Ninety-two. Ninety-three. Ninety-four. Ninety-five. Ninety-six. Ninety-seven. Ninety-eight. Ninety-nine. One hundred.
All right. Ready or not, here I come. Just kidding. Just kidding, right. Hide and seek. The game hide and seek, you know, one, two, three. So, that's it, guys. I hope this has helped, obviously repeat this exercise multiple times. Keep an eye out for the next video coming up in this series, where I'm going to be comparing the "teen" numbers to the "-ty" numbers, right. Like thirteen, thirty, fourteen, forty.
So, make sure to hit that subscribe and bell notification button so that you're aware of when that one comes up. And in the meantime, if you want to practise your ABCs in an Australian English accent, check out this video over here and I will see you next time. Bye.
